This program will run as a one-year pilot, after which Mosaic PCN will evaluate the effectiveness and success of the program in order to determine whether to continue the clinic and/or add other areas of mental health care.
Purpose:
Mosaic PCN is offering these services to address the high number of refugees in the Mosaic area. Mosaic PCN is collaborating with a doctoral candidate who specializes in refugee mental health care and the Margaret Chisholm Resettlement Centre. This collaboration will allow for effective referral and selection of refugees in need of the services offered in this clinic and will minimize any duplication of services.
