Mosaic PCN has developed its Centering Pregnancy program in collaboration with the Maternity Care Clinic, Calgary Perinatal Education and the University of Calgary.
This program integrates the three major components of perinatal care: health assessment, education, and support from a unified program in a group setting. Each group has 8-12 participants and meets for ten sessions throughout pregnancy and after delivery. This gives women in the Mosaic area easy and continuous access to prenatal care, information and expertise. A prenatal educator and physician attend every session.
